Papermaking from plantsI explore paper as both an expressive surface and a sculptural medium. Using plants such as stinging nettles, straw and hay, I process natural fibers into pulp to create handmade sheets and molded forms. I also work with mitsumata and cotton fibers to explore variations in texture, translucency and strength. Through suspended structures and organic forms, I investigate how paper interacts with light, air and movement. What begins as plant material becomes something delicate and unexpected, opening new possibilities for expression beyond the flat surface.
